As I was watching the 11 o'clock news last night I realized how depressing it really is sometimes, especially in the winter. A lot of people died last night from alcohol, ice on the roads, craziness. It seemed an abnormal amount of people had died. I had also just finished watching the last part of Titanic so maybe that aggravated the death situation. Did you realize that out of 2200 people that only 700 people were saved from Titanic? That's like the whole beach of Ironman participants going into the water, and only the elite and highly trained coming out. The rest of us drowning out there. Depressing. After all of these thoughts were running around in my head, then we got a phone call. My uncle died. I suppose it happens to everyone sometime. Some just sooner than others.
My man is running a marathon today. I wish I were there. Instead, I sit here in the snow. Maybe I'll go jump on the treadmill.
