He's GAY??

CNN headlines today confirmed that indeed, Clay Aiken is in fact....dun dun dun....GAY.

WHAT?? I never would have guessed.

First of all, who doesn't know that? I mean, why is this making HEADLINES at CNN?

Second of all, who cares? If the man in fact does sing beautifully (I'm a huge fan *ahem*), then does it matter that he wakes up to a boy every morning? Should it matter that when he sings "Sugar pie Honey Bunch" or "I want to know what love is" that he's actually singing to a male partner? Does this change the meaning for us as the listener? (Come on people. I know you listen to this stuff.)




I guess I don't understand why this makes headlines. Is there really nothing else going on in the world that CNN could cover? I mean, 18 kids were just caught in a burning bus and rescued from the inferno by passing motorists and that article didn't even get as much detail as Clay Aiken. Help us all. Where are our priorities? Leave Clay alone. Let him be. Let's have more stories about the unsung heros rescuing children from being burned to death than worry about where a person's affections are put.

Oh, and Lindsay Lohan is in fact dating a girl.
