Peter

The cool thing about living where we do right now is that we have access to some of the best medical facilities in the country. With at least six hospitals within walking distance from us, it is a good place to be pregnant.

At our ultrasound last week, the lady informed us that after the physician (one of the top 10 genetics specialists in the WORLD) came in to look at the ultrasound and make sure everything was alright, we would be eligible to sign up for a FREE 4D ultrasound (which usually costs around $400-500). The reason being that they are always looking for patients to get involved in their clinical trials or tests. The 4D ultrasound is one of the options to have a student perform on you. We jumped at the chance. So, tomorrow, we will get to see our son in 4D. Pretty cool. And I will get to have a paper written on me. What more could you ask for. I'll be a trial patient any day.

That's awesome! Is that your baby, or is that just an illustration? I too will have those same perks since my sister is an OB/GYN. My sister Lori got 4D pictures from my sisters ultrasound tech in exchange for fresh tomatoes from their farm. lol. I'll be anxious to see the actual picture. Sometimes they look freaky! One of the ones I saw, it was tricky and looked reverse, almost like there was a hole in the babies head... I was a little concerned. All was good though! Please post actual pictures, but make sure they aren't heat sensitive before you scan them or anything like that, I would hate for them to get ruined.
