Vague

Today I received an e-mail from my daughter's school titled: Head Lice.

Oh great, I thought. Someone at the school has headlice. One more thing to think about besides swine flu. Instead of coming out and saying that someone at the school has headlice, this is the first line of the e-mail.

"As we near the end of our school year, I wanted to pass on some useful information about head lice."

My question is this: Why do we need to know about this at the end of the schoolyear? Why don't they give us this information at the beginning of the school year? That is if this is truly JUST an informative e-mail about headlice. Instead of pointing fingers, they are vaguely trying to tell us that in fact the school has been overcome with headlice and if your child happens to be the perpetrator, to keep them home and get it taken care of. Interesting. Thankfully school is out soon and I can keep her secluded away from the public and their dirty diseases.

Sounds like a fun summer huh?
