I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know...
I don't want a lot for Chistmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see my baby standing right outside my door
Make my wish come true...baby
All I want for Christmas is you.
There's nothing like the words of My Chemical Romance screaming in your ears as you dance around the kitchen making you feel like Kirsten Dunst in Bring It On. Oh I'm excited. I can't wait for Christmas. I have apparently hoards of Christmas music on its way this week from Texas as the only Christmas music that I personally own on my computer are the Cheetah girls (previously talked about) and James Brown. Can't go wrong with a little James Brown now can we? Since I'm not a very patient person I had to download a few songs in the meantime to dance around to. This one is my favorite. The emphatic screaming and ska-feeling to the song makes it just perfect for acting like you are a 16-year-old teenager cheerleader again (okay I was never a cheerleader, it was gymnastics at our school, but whatever. I've seen the movies.) I was hoping that my daughter would share the excitement with me, but she emphatically shook her head when I put my headphones up to her ear and then went back to her MP3 player which was playing Cheetah Girls. To each his own.
The whole point of this is that I'm easy to shop for. There is really only one thing that I want for Christmas and unless things go horribly wrong, I'm getting it for more than just Christmas. I can't wait for that. That's all. I'm excited.
