-It's easy to remember Natalie's birthday because it comes right after mine. If it were before mine, I might forget. (I should probably move this one to the top so that she reads it, because we all know she's not going to read this far down in a blog with so many words.)
-Last night on my run, I opted to run to Rice University from our house and back, not via the bayou but running on the sidewalks along the road. In one particular block I saw a lizard shoot across the sidewalk in front of me from the grass on one side, to the bushes on the other. I thought, "Oh, cute! A little lizard." Then literally with every step I took for that entire block lizards were shooting out everywhere from one side to the other. I didn't want to break my pace so I was tiptoe running so as not to squish them. In short, I believe the word, "GROSS!" came outloud from my mouth by the time I finished that block. Ew. One is cute, but when it's like the Biblical Egyptian plagues I'll pass.
-Pete only woke up one time last night. Granted we stayed up for two hours together before he wanted to sleep again, but still...he only got up one time. I high-fived BoySmile this morning with a Booya for joy. I like sleeping.
-The irony of Pete sleeping so much last night, is that I was tired and ready for a nap by 10 a.m. How does that work?
-It's nice to be able to run again. It feels good...in a I-want-my-body-to-hurt way again.
-I saw the skinniest bum on the drive home tonight. He was skinnier than our friend The Skinniest Man Alive (I know only some people know what I'm talking about, but I'm not going to go into detail right now, so yeah.). For a second, perhaps just a fraction of a second, I almost felt sorry for him. This is abnormal for me.
-Babies are fun. If they didn't take nine months to make, I might want more. Don't tell BoySmile. I don't think he would put up with me for another nine month stint.
-Stint and Stent are very similar. I deep down hope that I use them in the right context.
-I might regret not making more friends while I lived here. I have met a few people this week that if I were to have "actually lived here" I would be friends with. Maybe I'll try harder the next place we move.
-I'm paying a mandatory $8 a day for my child to eat at school. It is part of tuition and is not an option to not pay. This $8 buys her one bowl of watermelon, one slice of bread, one slice of cheese, three tomatoes, and a glass of lemonade. For $8 my child could eat at the Olive Garden every day. This doesn't make me completely happy. I don't know a single 6-year-old that eats $8 worth of food during the entire day, much less for one meal. It has occurred to me that somewhere, someone along the way is making a pretty penny off of 6-year-old lunches.
-Live life to the fullest. No regrets. Miss you J. 4.27.80-9.5.06
-I can't wait to find out where we' re moving to.
-I've worn seran wrap for clothing before. It doesn't breathe well. Natalie was there. Good times.
-I can't wait until my kids can outrun me.
-My husband is pretty great. I like him. He's a smarty too. I can't wait to see him graduate. It's going to be great. I'm going to have to break out the Green Day-Time of Your Life and dance around in my cap and gown just to celebrate.
-It's my birthday week. Yes, birthdays are celebrated in weeks at our house.
-I was excited to see my RHR was 49 the other night. I like a good solid HR. Ahhh.
-The older I get, the more I realize I haven't done as much with my life as I would like. This is either depressing or motivating. I'm working on figuring out which one.

Happy Birthday! I'm thinking I'll go around and wish that on every online medium today.. just so you know. :-)
And in regards to my "wardrobe malfunction".. uhh, thanks for bringing that up! Hahaha. Now that we know each other better I'm shocked that you didn't laugh more. It was rather hilarious. HA!
And stop telling people that I have a good heart, it's ruining my illusion of a wanna be bad ass. hehehe ;-)
And that is so gross about the lizards. I would have jumped into the street.. but then I would have been hit by a car, and that's just no good.
