Cheetah-licious Christmas

I'm excited!

You want to know why? Are you ready?

Christmas!!!

I can't wait. While I used to be somewhat of a scrooge at Christmas time (I used to always get sick at Christmas including going to the hospital and being diagnosed with strep throat, scarlet fever, and tonsillitis....all at the same time), I'm definitely not anymore. I'm excited! I'm even more excited than my 5-year-old who unfortunately will probably turn out to be me one day which means she will be getting into the presents before Christmas day and sneaking around in undisclosed closets to see what she might be getting. I've been known to open presents, look at what they are, and re-wrap the present under the tree. I have no patience.

None.

This year is going to be fun. I get to have my Canadian around for a whole month. It's going to be fun. I can't even contain the excitement that I have for this Christmas. We'll start it out with a 50 mile run in Houston (of which I'm the spectator this time and driver and sharpie sign maker and coach and loving girlfriend and obnoxious fan all wrapped into one). Followed by possibly a Jingle Bell fun run the day after (when the vomiting and seizing of muscles has stopped from the day before) for me and possibly him (what a champ:), and then a jaunt up to Canada to meet the family and experience another culture (he loves it when I say that) and then just some good old time at home with the family eating food, making cookies, opening presents! I love presents. Getting them, giving them. All of it makes me happy.

I'm just excited. That's all. I think I was going to write about how I've been listening to the Cheetah girls, 'Cheetah-licious Christmas' album to further excite my mood two months ahead of time. Don't ask why I have that album on my computer. Thank you library. I like being Cheetah-licious. It's fun.

Christmas is amazing!! I'm not so sure about your fascination with the Cheetah Girls though. We'll talk about this later.
