Figurative Finish Line

I finished. Today. Before midnight. The Ironman Challenge is over for me. For those of you who don't know, the exercise science club at my school is trying to raise money. To do that, they are putting on what they call the Ironman Challenge. It is a way of raising money, and getting people active. The goal of this challenge is to finish an Ironman Distance Triathlon in three weeks worth of workouts. It's a fun and easy way for people to have a goal to work towards.

It started yesterday.

I'm done.

After my 2.4 mile swim, 15 mile run, and 40 mile bike ride today, I had finished up what I didn't do yesterday. I'm not gonna lie, it feels good to have all of that under my belt in the past two days. Gives me the feeling like I'm going to make it through Ironman this year. That's a good sign. I surprisingly don't feel nearly as tired as I thought I would either so that's good.

As of today when I went into the sponsor of this little ironman challenge event's office, I was most likely going to take the Individual Overall Winner award. Let's hope so. I've never been the overall winner of something before. Not only that, but I get a T-shirt! How great is that?

It's amazing what you'll do for a t-shirt.

You're pretty much my hero. Way to beat out all the newbies:)

It's all about the t-shirt. That's why I sign up for anything anyway... ;)
